Ice Hot Helsinki 2022 took place from June 29 to July 3 at the Cable Factory and the brand new Tanssin talo, Dance House. The joy and happiness in the air was palpable as the international dance community finally got to meet each other face to face, after a long period of restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The exceptionally hot summer edition of the Ice Hot Nordic Dance Platform presented 38 Nordic companies and choreographers on 8 different stages and venues. A burning question was treated in many talks and discussions: How can we act as agents of change in making our events and the whole field more sustainable?

Ice Hot Helsinki team was delighted to host 272 registered guests from all over the world, and the 172 artists and company members from all Nordic countries who presented their work.
